An hour sea-watching from Lamba Ness in mainly drizzly poor visibility produced just three sightings of a single Sooty Shearwater - twice north and once south - conceivably all the same individual! A walk around Norwick produced 4 Lesser Whitethroats, a Willow Warbler and at least 4 Common Rosefinches. With better visibility I returned to Lamba Ness for 90 minutes but I saw even less than during my first visit! Our garden was still playing host to 2 of the juvenile Redpolls.
