Less windy than forecast that was good and I even managed to see a migrant Warbler on my arrival at Skaw albeit unfortunately it proved to be the only one - and a Garden. A walk around Norwick added a Kestrel, a Lesser Whitethroat, a Willow Warbler and then a flock of 6 passerines flew up from a crop whereupon I usually look through the House Sparrows for a Common Rosefinch, but today, the flock consisted of 5 Rosefinches but just a single Sparrow! Burrafirth was still playing host to the Willow Warbler and on my return home our garden had attracted 3 juvenile Redpolls.
