Hopes were high after an overnight southeasterly airflow but were soon dashed by only seeing a single Willow Warbler at Skaw and just a single Tree Pipit and 4 Wheatears at Norwick. Whilst back home for a coffee a Common Rosefinch dropped into our garden and stayed around 20 minutes before flying off high south. NorthDale produced a single Swallow, one of the Willow Warblers was still present at Burrafirth and a look at Haroldswick produced nothing more than a Robin and a Chiffchaff!
