Unpleasant weather hampering birding but clearly a few more migrants had arrived. At Skaw the female Stonechat was still present but I failed to see another migrant. A walk around Norwick was more rewarding seeing the Robin, 5 Ring Ouzels, a Fieldfare, a Redwing, 2 Song Thrush, a Blackcap, 2 Chiffchaffs, 4 Bramblings and I heard a Redpoll. Haroldswick was playing host to a Knot, 3 Song Thrush, a Blackcap, 2 Willow Warblers and 2 Reed Buntings. NorthDale added 4 Fieldfares, 3 Song Thrush, 2 Willow Warblers, a Chiffchaff and a Goldcrest. A look at a couple of sites in Baltasound produced 2 Blackcaps, 2 Chiffchaffs, 3 Willow Warblers, a Chaffinch and 4 Bramblings.
