After all of the northerlies it was nice to feel a breeze from the east! It remained quieter than I had hoped but at least there were a few passerine migrants. At Skaw there was a Swallow, a White Wagtail, a Pied Wagtail, a female Stonechat and a Chiffchaff. At Lamba Ness there were 3 Swallows and a Sand Martin. Around Norwick I saw 2 Great Northern Divers, the Common Buzzard flying northeast towards Lamba Ness, 3 Pied Wagtails, a Robin, a male Blackcap, a Chiffchaff and a flock of 6 Carrion Crows flying northeast. Haroldswick added 2 Great Northern Divers, a smart Slavonian Grebe, a White Wagtail, a Chiffchaff, a Reed Bunting, a Jackdaw and 4 Carrion Crows. As the day wore on our garden was playing host to a Robin and a Goldcrest.
