11th May 2021 Unst NE3 Overcast becoming drizzly

In light of the overnight rain it wasn't too surprising that I saw a similar selection species today albeit it appeared that some birds had managed to leave the north of the island as generally I saw fewer migrants today. 

Millfield: Blackcap & 2 Willow Warblers.

Skaw: House Martin, 2 Pied Wagtails, Tree Pipit, Redwing, Robin, Stonechat, Chiffchaff, 4 Willow Warblers & Brambling.

Norwick: Sparrowhawk, Tree Pipit, 4 Robins, 3 Song Thrush, Common Whitethroat, Blackcap, 10 Willow Warblers (including one singing), Goldcrest, Pied Flycatcher, Siskin, 6 Brambling & Reed Bunting.

Sotland: 3 Fieldfares, Song Thrush.

Burrafirth: Ring Ouzel.

Haroldswick: Sanderling, 6 Swallows, House Martin, Tree Pipit, Common Whitethroat, 5 Willow Warblers & 2 Reed Buntings.

Baltasound: 15 Swallows.
