15th May 2021 Unst N3 Drizzle

Overcast all day with associated light drizzle for most of it. Whilst it originally felt that I was seeing a selection of lingering migrants it then felt a few new migrants arrived as the day wore on. I identified my first Terns of the year with both Common & Arctic seen. The highlight of the day was a male Red-backed Shrike in our garden - we were soon joined by Jon, Ian and Emma and it showed nicely catching bumblebees before making its way off up towards East Hill never to reappear.
