The forecast storm duly arrived and with a wet and windy dawn I was just contemplating sitting down to catch-up with some paperwork for work when a white-winger was visible from our kitchen window off Norwick. On heading out the Water Rail scuttled along the length of our potato patch. On arriving at the beach at Norwick there was a juvenile Glaucous Gull and 2 juvenile Iceland Gulls present among the modest assemblage of Gulls. As heavy rain commenced they flew off inland.
