A virtually calm day under overcast skies. An hour's seawatch from Lamba Ness produced an adult Glaucous Gull, 30 Kittiwakes and 11 Auk sp. moving north and a juvenile Glaucous Gull feeding among a raft of Gulls off Norwick. There were 10 Redwings at Skaw. A walk to Valyie and back added a juvenile Iceland Gull, 8 Purple Sandpipers, a Woodcock, a Song Thrush, 7 Chaffinches and a Carrion Crow.
