A flock of 9 Twite that paid me a visit whilst I was tidying up the garden this morning was the 50th species I've seen this year. A trip to the shop this afternoon proved more productive than expected catching-up with the Velvet Scoter that has been lingering for a while off Skibhoul Stores and seeing a Tree Sparrow on the Gerdavatn garden feeders in Baltasound.
