Another mild day and it was virtually calm all afternoon too. A look at Loch of Watlee revealed the presence of 3 Goosander. Whilst then wandering around Baltasound we flushed a Woodcock, found 4 Long-eared Owls roosting together and the Velvet Scoter was still present in Balta Sound. A female Pintail was present on Easter Loch being presumably the same individual that was present there on and off last winter. A drive out to Westing added a flock of 8 Fieldfares being the 60th species I've seen this year.
