An early morning visit to Skaw and Lamba Ness was in danger of scoring a complete blank until seeing 3 Merlins on my way home for breakfast. Passing Haroldswick beach produced a Knot and a quick check of Burrafirth this evening a first-year Willow Warbler - at last!
