Despite the westerly wind decided to give Lamba Ness a try this evening and bumped into a juvenile Red-necked Phalarope on the pool at the tip. It was bearing a blue colour-ring so presumably from Fetlar. An hour spent sea-watching produced a single Manx Shearwater flying south.
