Walked the Bird Trail at dawn hoping for a Pitta on the trail but it wasn't to be. Left Phu Suan Sai National Park at 8am to make the long drive to Chiang Saen lake where we arrived just in time to see c.75 Pied Harriers arrive to roost at Wat Bamakno. Found a cabin to stay at Sanboonma Resort in Chiang Saen.
