We drove to the summit boardwalk that runs through an area of mossy swamp forest arriving soon after dawn. We did a few laps of the boardwalk until it became popular with visitors. Highlights included a White-browed Shortwing and a Dark-sided Thrush. We then walked some of the road before descending to the Km34.5 jeep track where a Green Cochoa was heard whistling at the onset of rain. We again tried the campsite pools at dusk.
