An early morning brief visit to Valyie before spending the rest of the day completing my first inter-tidal survey on Yell Sound seeing the juvenile Black-winged Stilt all too distantly enroute. The only slight surprise of the survey was a 1w Arctic Tern. I checked three gardens during my lunch hour that produced my first Robin of the Autumn.
Norwick: Whooper Swan, Lesser Whitethroat, Chiffchaff, 10 Greenland Redpolls, Hornemann's Arctic Redpoll & 2 Brambling.
Cullivoe: juvenile Black-winged Stilt.
West Yell: Arctic Tern & Robin.
