2nd April 2022 Unst NNW2 Clear

An early message from Brydon had me heading to Baltasound as he'd found Unst's first American Black Duck there, whilst out walking his dog. Fortunately it was showing well in the company of a pair of Mallard in lovely light as I joined Brydon & Mike watching it on the peerie houb. On returning home there were still 4 Great Northern Divers off Norwick and a walk to Valyie added a Sparrowhawk. During an evening scan of the wick the White-billed Diver was again among the Great Northern Divers offshore and Brenda's phone fired through my telescope did a good job in securing some images .
