13th April 2022 Unst ESE5 Overcast

The overnight southeasterly airflow did the trick producing more migrants today including good numbers of Robins and my first White Wagtails, Wheatear, Black Redstart and Hawfinches of the year.

Skaw: White Wagtail, Robin, Wheatear & Black Redstart.

Norwick: Long-tailed Duck, Sparrowhawk, White Wagtail, Pied Wagtail, 10 Robins, 2 Song Thrushes, 5 Redwings, 4 Chiffchaffs, 4 Goldcrests, Linnet, 2 Chaffinches, 3 Brambling, 2 Hawfinches.

NorthDale: White Wagtail, 2 Robins, 2 Song Thrushes, 4 Chiffchaffs & Brambling.

Burrafirth: Bonxie.

Haroldswick: Greenland White-fronted Goose & Pied Wagtail.

Another nice surprise having failed to see one on Unst last year.
