26th October 2019 Unst SW5 Rain clearing

Another wet and windy day although the rain cleared mid-afternoon so we walked both Burrafirth and Norwick beaches for the monthly beached bird survey. Whilst at Norwick 2 adult Whooper Swans flew in off the sea and the Velvet Scoter and 2 Long-tailed Ducks were sat offshore. Our garden was visited by a single Blackcap and a single Chiffchaff.
