Robbie picked out an American Golden Plover on call as it arrived over his house at Ordaal. He soon located it on the houb when he, Brydon and Mike kindly let us know of its presence. We joined Robbie there with the AGP stood fast asleep on the estuary - a moulting adult. It awoke, flew straight over us giving its distinctive 'tu-lee' call and flew to a field playing host to a feeding flock of Golden Plovers where we watched it actively feeding. Great find Robbie.
