Awoke to a strong southerly wind and heavy rain with the latter soon subsiding. The Yellow-browed Warbler was still in our garden showing nicely in the shelter of the wall. Skaw produced just the Common Whitethroat and Chiffchaff. Clingera produced 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, a Willow Warbler and a Chiffchaff. Robbie then kindly text to say that he and Tim had found an Icterine Warbler at Setters Hill that we were soon watching showing well in the roses. Burrafirth produced a single Willow Warbler and Norwick a single Blackcap.

A close miss for a Sussex sycamore being one my parents very kindly grew and brought with them!
