A calm starry night was followed by a cool clear morning but unexpectedly there were some new migrants seen. Skaw produced 2 Common Whitethroats, Burrafirth a Lesser Whitethroat and Cullivoe on Yell 5 Grey Herons, 7 Tufted Duck and an overflying Chaffinch being my first of the Autumn.
