A beautiful clear morning slowly clouded over with a short spell of rain around midday that soon cleared through. Having covered Norwick and Lamba Ness we made a late afternoon visit to NorthDale as Brian Cox and Nick Pope had found an Olive-backed Pipit there.
Norwick: Long-tailed Duck, 3 Robins, Common Redstart, Song Thrush, Tree Pipit, first-winter Citrine Wagtail, 13 Blackcaps, Lesser Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, 3 Willow Warblers, 4 Chiffchaffs, Spotted Flycatcher, Common Rosefinch, c.50 Chaffinch, c.100 Brambling, h Siskin.
Lamba Ness: 2 Song Thrush.
NorthDale: Chiffchaff, Olive-backed Pipit & Little Bunting.
