A day spent working surveying on Yell produced a couple of highlights being a pair of Arctic Skuas (one pale morph) seen attempting, but failing, to rob a Red-throated Diver carrying prey returning to it's breeding lochan and then a male Merlin pursuing, but failing, to take a Meadow Pipit.
