Spent the whole morning working but with a few birds seen at or near Skaw including an Iceland Gull, a Woodpigeon, a White Wagtail, a Robin, a Song Thrush and an Icelandic Redwing. Early afternoon we walked to Valyie and back seeing our first Sparrowhawk of the year and 2 Chiffchaffs.
Song Thrush at Skaw
A pair of Shags at Skaw
Iceland Gull at Skaw
Considering the date the amount of grey in its primaries and dark tail band might hint at Kumlien's Gull but is its bill dark and/or hefty enough?
Bonxie passing Lamba Ness
Female Sparrowhawk and Hooded Crow at Valyie
Female Greenfinch at Millfield
She was back today having been absent yesterday and presumably that seen by Connel at Setters Hill in Baltasound
