Hopefully the long winter is about to end and it was encouraging that the temperature increased and wind dropped as the day progressed. A Great Tit was still present in our garden having first appeared yesterday. I only saw a Pied Wagtail and 2 Redwings at Skaw. A Bonxie overflew Saxa Vord hill and another flew north past Lamba Ness. A walk around Norwick produced the 2 Woodpigeons, one of the Pied Wagtails, the Robin and 4 Redwings.
