A couple of Sand Martins flew north at Skaw but otherwise migrants were few and far between at sites checked. The drake Surf Scoter was still present at the fish cages off Belmont. Mid-afternoon Mike kindly text to say that there were a pair of Garganey at Baltasound that by the time that we visited had been joined by 2 Wood Sandpipers.
