Out early to beat the forecast rain with the morning starting clear allowing me time to check Skaw but whilst sea-watching from Lamba Ness the fog rolled-in but not before seeing an impressive number of Puffins and a single Bar-tailed Godwit flying north. Rain soon followed and persisted for the whole day.
