2nd November 2022 Unst SW4 Clear

An enjoyable day's birding with a late rush of migrants meaning there were birds just about everywhere you looked. My highlight came early as a Great Grey Shrike flew past me whilst walking to Norwick and then spent a while at Leawart before heading west to the pines and then up and over the hillside not to be seen again.

NorthDale: 5 Robin, Song Thrush, 70 Redwing, 15 Fieldfare & 3 Blackcap.

Burrafirth: Jack Snipe, Long-eared Owl, Stonechat, 4 Robin, 2 Mistle Thrush, 2 Chiffchaff, Siberian Chiffchaff, Common Redpoll & Reed Bunting.
