A windy day but warm and most sites visited had some sheltered corners. The northern beaches held my first juvenile Knot of the Autumn, 55 Turnstone, 14 Sanderling and 13 Dunlin. I also saw a Sand Martin at Skaw, the Bonaparte's Gull, 6 Swallows and my first Willow Warbler of the Autumn at Norwick and a Willow Warbler and the Mealy Redpoll at Northdale.
