5th February 2019 Unst NW2 Overcast

The overnight northwesterly wind had virtually petered out by dawn but I decided to give Lamba Ness a try seeing a blue Fulmar, a winter-plumaged Little Auk and 10 Common Guillemots all flying north in an hour before drizzle set in. The drizzle had faded away by late morning so we again spent some time gardening with a flock of 12 Snow Buntings joining the 25 Twite around our house being a welcome distraction.
