1st August 2018 Unst SW2 Clear

Having spent the day working I noticed the wind had calmed late afternoon so we decided to walk to Valyie and back. I'd seen one of the Pied Flycatchers, a Willow Warbler and a scruffy Chiffchaff when I heard a call that stopped me in my tracks. As it felt too early in the Autumn for a Greenish Warbler, I felt certain that I was in for disappointment, but on trying a little burst of playback... bingo, out pops a beautifully fresh Greenish!
