A colder and windier early morning with rain arriving whilst
still at Skaw where a few migrants were again
present including the Barnacle Geese. Two Iceland Gulls were seen together in
a small assemblage near Northdale where more Skylarks were present in the
ploughed field there. We then drove south to Uyeasound walking both the Youth
Hostel area and the mature garden at the eastern end. We then returned to try Skaw again as the rain had stopped before Norwick and
then a late afternoon seawatch from Lamba Ness that produced c.15 Puffins.
