Awakening to a light covering of snow I didn't anticipate seeing any migrants today, so on checking my favourite garden in Mossbank, I was pleased to see a Chiffchaff! On returning home via Haroldswick there was a female Stonechat at the pool. A walk around Norwick in the now sunny conditions produced 4 Great Northern Diver, 3 Long-tailed Duck, a Lesser Black-backed Gull, 2 Woodcock, a Purple Sandpiper, 4 Woodpigeon, another Chiffchaff, 2 Goldcrest, the wintering Great Tit, a Northern Bullfinch and a Hawfinch.
