Fog persisted for much of the day. With it remaining quiet for migrants my first Great Spotted Woodpeckers of the year proved quite a surprise!
Norwick: 3 Knot, 14 Sanderling, 2 Common Snipe, 2 Swallow, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 2 Pied Wagtail, 3 Wheatear, 3 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Willow Warbler, Song Thrush & 4 Common Crossbill.
Baltasound: Pied Flycatcher.
NorthDale: Kestrel, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Willow Warbler & 6 Redpoll.
