The strong westerly made for difficult birding and all I managed to see around Norwick was a Redwing, a Song Thrush and a Fieldfare. Other sites proved even quieter although there were 3 Wheatears together in a field at Haroldswick. Mike then somehow relocated the Spotted Redshank feeding in a narrow roadside ditch near Ungirsta being the first I've seen on Unst.
