Black-headed Gull 1 adult winter HYT
Herring Gull 1 3w A7FM

Adult-winter Black-headed Gull HYT at Princes Park
With RJF snowballing out of County (don't think he'll be rushing back anytime soon for the reported piping Sibe) here's the best I managed in emulating Birding Never Sleeps. Danish-ringed I have been promised further details...

Third-winter Herring Gull A7FM at Princes Park
Formerly most of the Herring Gull colour-rings I've managed to read were from as far as.... Mallydams Rescue Centre at Fairlight and this appears to be another... More-recently, North Thames is a major source, a couple of which were seen this weekend at Birling Gap and Newhaven Harbour albeit too distantly to read. Richard Thompson has kindly been in touch 'This bird hasn't been seen for a whole year and it was almost to the day he is back in the same place, Princes Park. He was seen on 11/12/2011 . His metal ring number is GC94677 and he was released 26/7/2010. He originally came in as an orphan from St Helen's road, Hastings and was in the centre for quite some time, 50 days, so he must have been tiny when it first came in. Glad to see he's still doing well and thank you for taking the time to report him to me'.
