22nd September 2000 Fife Ness 7.00am - 10.00am (no sign of Yellow-breasted Bunting). Rain at dawn then clearing becoming sunny. Collieston, Aberdeenshire 1.30pm - 6.30pm (no sign of Eastern Olivaceous Warbler). Sunny becoming less windy towards evening.


Pink-footed Goose c.3,000 in flight and in fields just north of Collieston
Buzzard c.5
Marsh Harrier 1 female with creamy crown and throat.
Swallow c.25
Robin c.25
Redstart c.5 including 1 immature showing characters of samamisicus with pale panel on secondaries.
Whinchat c.8 Fife Ness
