A pre-dawn start at the Sime Forest, MacRitchie Reservoir entering through the Singapore Golf Club then onto the Tuas grasslands situated near the 'new' causeway to Malaysia before trying the Seragoon pools. After midday we caught a bumboat to Palau Ubin returning to Singapore then visiting Loyang near Changi Village and then to the drainage ditch along Tyersall Avenue adjacent to the Botanical Gardens where we spent the evening.
