Being found on the morning of my Mum's birthday it proved an unpopular decision to leave on news but being a first for Britain at a time of year that Nearctic wildfowl often quickly move through the Country it left us with little alternative. Albeit seen in the 'Nottingham triangle', we watched it constantly displaying to the accompanying Pochard adding to its 'feel good factor'.
