We again spent the early morning along the Standardwing trail before hitching a ride in a passing van to the ridge from where we walked back down to our accommodation. We spent the evening viewing the adjacent ridge.

We spent the morning along the Standardwing trail before hitching a ride on a passing motorbike to the top of the ridge from where we walked back down to our accommodation. Late in the afternoon we walked back up the ridge again.

We spent the morning along the Standardwing Trail and then walked logging track before returning to the Standardwing trail. After dark we hitched a lift on the back of a passing lorry to our accommodation.

We spent the morning obtaining permission to visit Halmahera. We then took a speedboat across the Ternate Channel to Sidangoli from where we were driven to KBP. Having found our basic accommodation we walked the road to the top of the ridge.
