On my walk to work I saw an immature male Marsh Harrier quartering the Norwick mires and there was a Whooper Swan feeding on seaweed at Skaw and the Icterine Warbler was still singing at Norwick.

1st June 2025 Yell SW4 Clear
Working on Yell was enlivened by a male Honey Buzzard seen flying west over Hamnavoe. Even better was to come when Adrian gave me an early head's-up that Christian had found an Eye-browed Thrush at Gutcher. A drake Shoveler was present in Baltasound.
