Velvet Scoter 8 including a single adult drake that had been reported as a White-winged Scoter the previous day.
Long-tailed Duck 1
Smew 1 redhead Scaling Dam Reservoir
Red Grouse c.15 on moorland near Scaling Dam Reservoir. Very dark chestnut with neat short white moustachial stripes. Small white wing patch on primary coverts. Calling koch, koch, kockockockoc.
