Cuckoo 1 juv. in quarry behind toilets just east of Beachy Head Hotel taking caterpillars from the ground. White fringes to upperparts, grey head with white patches on forecrown and ear coverts. Ex.

Gannet 100 in feeding flock off Cow Gap

Night Heron 1 imm. Plumage recalled a dusky/dingy adult showing some streaking on the neck sides and retaing some white spots on the upperwing coverts. Two long white plumes. Appeared to swim briefly before walking onto a log and flying north never to be seen again.
