Having heard about this late, JFC & JK had already left. Having previously seen the Dummer bird this still felt too good an opportunity to ignore so I therefore made my own way, and almost unbelievably, the Owl was still perched in view when I arrived at the crowd. It then became active at dusk with even some flight views being eventually obtained.
