A dank day with drizzle persisting until mid-afternoon when it eventually cleared but remained windy. I took a drive to Burrafirth and Haroldswick in the morning seeing my first Kestrel and Arctic Tern of year. As the rain began to ease I walked to Skaw adding my first Common Sandpiper, Whinchat and Common Whitethroat of the year.
Burrafirth: Kestrel.
Haroldswick: Arctic Tern & Reed Bunting.
Skaw: Common Sandpiper, Whimbrel, Whinchat, Common Whitethroat, 2 Chiffchaff & Brambling.
Norwick: 2 Great Northern Diver, 3 Sparrowhawks, Collared Dove, Common Whitethroat, Jackdaw & 3 Brambling.
