30th April 2008 Petropavlosk, Kamchatka

Pre-dawn arrival at Petropavlosk, Kamchatka. Calm and dry. Took a morning boat trip around Avancha Bay and it was so good we stayed aboard for the afternoon trip.

Problems raising the anchor denied us the chance of sailing out of Petropavlosk in daylight but did ensure we could enjoy the increasingly colourful sunset surrounded by the Petropavlosk volcanoes
