We awoke to icy conditions and whilst it developed into a bright and calm day the temperature barely exceeded freezing all day. A walk around Haroldswick and out to Clibberswick resulted in seeing a handful of Redwings, a Song Thrush, 3 Meadow Pipits and 10 Chaffinches. A drive to Uyeasound revealed that Easter Loch had remained completely frozen all day.
