30th April 2011 Dufferin Islands & Wheatley

Walked Dufferin Islands NR adjacent to Niagara Falls and then drove to Wheatley arriving in the late afternoon. Met with Donna & Scott and moved-in to our superb lakeside cottage on Lake Erie where we were staying for the next three weeks. Weather sunny and calm but with a strong easterly late afternoon.

Arrived at Toronto at 3.15pm. Left the airport and drove to Niagara Falls. Saw the floodlit falls and a racoon patrolling the nearby lawns.
